That Day

Warning – Graphic Language!!

“I dreamt tomorrow would have a prettier face
I dreamt tomorrow would have something more to say
than ‘You look like shit
What’s your problem bitch?
Your legs feel like sandpaper
You can’t do anything right'”
-Poe “That Day”

That day was today. Yuck. My only spots of sunshine were getting to talk to my Mother and Matt (however briefly). I think I’ll go to bed and wake up to a better tomorrow. At least, it better be better, or I’ll get my Irish up! 🙂

BTW, does anyone know how to spell dreamt/dreampt? Can we put a spell checker on this thing?

As your resident English expert, I say that the proper spelling for the past tense conjugation of the verb “to dream” is dreamt. Boy, does that word look funny.

  2. Matt says:

“Dreamt” is the only word in the English language that ends in the letters “mt”.
