So this is what I hate about promising to blog for two weeks – I have nothing really to talk about!!! Ah well…

and now I try to be amused.

Our posting person is out at work, so they’ve been keeping me super busy helping out in that area all week. It’s been really fun, since I’m not familiar with that section of the job. I’m really filling in the knowledge gaps on the system – and by this I mean that I knew the theory of doing that work, but I had never done it. I love it when I get a new challenge!

Still having quite the problem with XM radio. It’s not that they’re being difficult – their customer service is really nice – I apparently just keep falling through the cracks in their system. For example, after a *year* of calling them twice a month, someone finally thought to mention tech support to me. Geez Louise!

On the upside, Amazon support was really phenomenal yesterday. I had a bit of an issue with my usual card (the bank caught someone fraudulently adding charges to it and closed the card – mentioned here), but they worked with me to get my order out (thank you guys!!!). It won’t be on time, but I think that Matt’s going to have a hard enough time dealing with the fact that he’s getting his present in his birthday month, instead of in June. I hope he reads this before he has a coronary, as attempts to reach him have been largely unsuccessful (I did have a lovely conversation with Glenda yesterday, though!).
